On Wednesday, the Niagara County Industrial Development Agency board of directors accepted an application for assistance for consideration from Merani Holdings LLC. The company is proposing to build a 7,800-square-foot restaurant adjacent to the Holiday Inn at 114 Buffalo Ave., in the City of Niagara Falls.

Mark Grisanti, R-60th, announced Tuesday the Senate has passed bill S.6664, which authorizes a real property tax exemption of 35 percent for a period of no longer than 20 years for homes that are certified green by either being LEED-ND certified or by the National Association of Home Builders.
