The Niagara Arts and Cultural Center has announced the annual NACC Artists & Friends Art Exhibition in its Main Gallery, 1201 Pine Ave. The opening reception for the exhibition will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Nov. 17. It will be preceded by Open Studios & Artist Market from 3 to 6 pm. In addition, local artist William Carpenter will be featured in a solo exhibit in the Garden Gallery.

The Roswell Park Alliance Foundation, a not-for-profit that manages all donations made to Roswell Park Cancer Institute, recently awarded scientific research grants totaling nearly $800,000 to RPCI scientists and clinicians.
