To address this pressing health concern, the association launched the equity-focused hypertension initiative in Buffalo to improve heart health outcomes. The local effort is part of a nationwide effort.

Registration is still open for the annual "Fight For Air Climb Buffalo." Over 500 participants will climb approximately 800 stairs up to the top of Seneca One Tower on Saturday, April 5, at 9 a.m. The climb aims to raise awareness and over $290,000 to support research, advocacy and education for those with lung diseases and lung cancer.
