Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict in the murder case against Marchello M. Gildersleeve, age 43, of Niagara Falls, this afternoon.
NYSERDA announces agreements on underutilized sites for renewable energy development

Under these memorandums of understanding (MOU), NYSERDA, through its build-ready program, will work closely with Tompkins County in the Southern Tier and Niagara County in Western New York to explore the feasibility of developing renewable energy projects on otherwise underutilized sites, including a landfill and unused land surrounding an active airport.
SUNY Niagara offering free course to Niagara Falls School District parents

SUNY Niagara is partnering with the Niagara Falls City School District to offer a free college course to parents whose children are enrolled in the district. The course, English 102: writing II and introduction to literature, reinforces writing skills and introduces students to the study of literature.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Brian Wallace, age 37, of Niagara Falls, entered a guilty plea to murder in the second degree in county court on June 13. Wallace admitted to murdering 38-year-old Lauren Hayes in a motel room in Niagara Falls on Feb. 21, 2023.

The Lockport Memorial Hospital Campus will host its event on from 3-7 p.m. Wednesday, June 12, at the hospital at 6001 Shimer Drive, Lockport. Mount St. Mary's Hospital, at 5300 Military Road in Lewiston, will host its open house the following day, June 13, from 3-7 p.m.
