Bergholz Volunteer Fire Co. celebrates 100th anniversary

This weekend, Bergholz Volunteer Fire Co. rang in their 100th anniversary with a two-day spectacular. After a 15-year absence, the firehall decided to bring back field days - and entertaining venue with food trucks, bands, a parade, beer tent and more.

U.S. Attorney James P. Kennedy Jr. announced Monday that Glen Stacharczyck, 53, of Buffalo, pleaded guilty to RICO conspiracy, before U.S. District Judge Elizabeth A. Wolford. The charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
