The Totally Buffalo Store will be debuting its fifth location this month: at Military Road in Niagara Falls - just across from the Fashion Outlets Mall. The Totally Buffalo Store will celebrate a grand-opening at the new location on Black Friday, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 25.

TNT Chamber holiday mixer has 'Christmas Story' theme

The annual holiday mixer of the Chamber of Commerce of the Tonawandas will be held Thursday, Dec. 1, at Frankie Primos 39 North, located on Webster Street in North Tonawanda. This year's theme, "A Christmas Story," is special, as the original movie celebrates its 25th year anniversary with a sequel to air this month on HBO MAX. The event will host Ian Petrella (who played Randy in the original move) and feature the original fire truck from the movie.

Cash awards will be given for the best costumes. Runner awards will be given for the top three finishers in the respective categories, with long-sleeved T-shirts presented to the first 150 runners.

NCSO responds to Starpoint Middle School incident

On Nov. 15, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office deputy assigned as the school resource officer at the Starpoint School District received a report of a possible threat of violence at the school. After an investigation by the Niagara County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Bureau, a juvenile student who attends Starpoint Middle School was charged with one count of making a terroristic threat (a D- felony).

NFPD investigating shooting

Just after 12:30 on the afternoon of Thursday, Nov. 10, Niagara Falls Police responded to a house in the 2700 block of Falls Street for a report of a person shot. Officers located a 21-year-old female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was treated on the scene by the Niagara Falls Fire Department and AMR, and was transported to ECMC where she is listed in serious condition.
