Arthur William Johnson, 83, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away April 10, 2026, following a long illness. He was a dear husband, brother, uncle, father and friend. Prior to moving to Florida, Arthur served as a business teacher and coach at Niagara Wheatfield High School. His impact on youth sports in the Buffalo area was celebrated. His loss will be felt deeply.

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that Niagara Falls Boulevard (U.S. Route 62) southbound in the City of Niagara Falls, under the Interstate 190 overpass, will be closed nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. beginning Tuesday, April 14, and continuing through Friday, April 17, to facilitate an ongoing bridge repair project.
