Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Marchello Gildersleeve, age 43, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced this afternoon to a term of 25 years to life in State Prison.

Lockport-Niagara Hospice will hold its annual Mighty Niagara Half Marathon and Hospice Dash 5K on Oct. 5. The half-marathon starts at Artpark State Park in Lewiston, while the 5K starts at Porter-on-the-Lake Park. Both races finish at Porter-on-the-Lake Park.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced a Niagara County jury returned a guilty verdict in the case against Time Thomas Jr., age 30, of Buffalo, Tuesday morning. Thomas was found guilty of all 10 counts in the indictment against him, including criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, aggravated driving while intoxicated, endangering the welfare of a child, and drug possession charges.

Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Quennel R. Jordan, age 40, of New Jersey, was sentenced to spend the next 15 years in prison for a series of crimes committed in Niagara Falls in 2021.
