HUD announces over $9 million for affordable housing in New York Tribal communities

On Friday, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Secretary Scott Turner announced more than $9 million in Indian Housing Block Grant (IHBG) funding for eligible Native American Tribes and Tribally Designated Housing Entities (TDHEs) in New York to carry out affordable housing activities in Indian Country. Nationally, HUD awarded $1.1 billion in IHBG funding.

On Monday, the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation announced a nearly $12 million project to improve and expand the visitor experience at Earl W. Brydges Artpark State Park is complete.
