Connect Niagara - the bus service operated by the Niagara County Department of Public Works - will allow all riders to ride for free weekdays from the day after Labor Day, Tuesday, Sept. 2 through Friday, Sept. 12, as part of an effort to introduce more people to the service.

The Niagara County Department of Public Works (DPW) today announced that culvert work will begin next Wednesday, Aug. 27, on Upper Mountain Road between Sunset Drive and the railroad overpass. This is the next phase in the Upper Mountain Road rehab project that began in July.

On Sunday evening, Artpark & Company hosted the world premiere of Buffalo composer Moshe Shulman's "Beyond Buffalo: A Celebration of Multiculturalism in Music and Dance."
