The family of Sutherland, who was honored posthumously, received the award from Ortt's office at the first Col. Bruce R. At 7:24 p.m. Wednesday, the Niagara County Sheriff's Office communications center received a 911 call reporting a residential structure fire on Glengrove Drive in the Town of Porter. Niagara County Sheriff's Office deputies responded and confirmed a fully involved attached garage fire, with the fire extending into the residence.
