The Upward Niagara Chamber of Commerce welcomed Santa Claus to town on Saturday, making him the chief guest, wish-taker and star of the annual Christmas Walk weekend. Jolly Ol’ St. Nick was paraded down Center Street, and then into the International Peace Garden where he met with children. Families participated in horse-drawn carriage rides, enjoyed a petting zoo, and took in the sights and sounds of the village – including displays at DiMino’s Lewiston Tops, the Lewiston Museum and Syros.
