A new Excelsior Orthopaedics Niagara Falls facility has more to offer the Western New York community. The comprehensive musculoskeletal care center will be able to serve a larger area of Niagara County.
Excelsior Orthopaedics, which has operated in Niagara Falls since 2017, opened its new office in early January at 10195 Niagara Falls Blvd., Suite 100.
Dr. James Slough – together with CEO David Uba, Excelsior physicians, business partner Joe Smith of David Chevrolet Buick, and Niagara Falls lead Excelsior team members – cut the ribbon on the facility Tuesday night.
The 17,100-square-foot space has 22 exam rooms, two X-ray rooms, physical and occupational therapy, Excelsior Express orthopedic urgent care, and durable medical equipment.
With the expansion, Excelsior Orthopaedics now has MRI, which is a tremendous addition to its state-of-the-art imaging capabilities, enabling the team to better serve the people of Niagara County.
“A lot of people don’t know that (orthopedic urgent care) exists, and that’s a differentiator for us. So, if you break an arm, instead of going and sitting with the people who have a cough at a place like other urgent cares that kind of see everything, you can come right here specifically for strains and breaks,” marketing coordinator Erica Brecher said.
“You’re in and out quicker in a place that specializes in type of quick injury.”
The building also features artwork from patients of Aspire Inc.
