Lewiston’s bicentennial celebration continued Saturday with a parade down Center Street. Participants included marching bands, dance studios, first responders, local businesses and elected leaders.
In the afternoon, the Alphonso I. DiMino Memorial Band Shell was dedicated at Academy Park. Following some remarks from Tops owner Anthony DiMino and Mayor Anne Welch, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra performed in front of a vast crowd.
