Volunteers with the Historical Association of Lewiston hosted a drive-thru Chiavetta’s chicken barbecue fundraiser on Saturday at the Town of Lewiston Town Hall parking lot. They were joined by elected and local business leaders. Dinners were just about sold-out when these photos were taken.
Funds will support the bicentennial celebration, slated to take place July 1-4. Activities planned for that weekend include a parade along Center Street, a performance by the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra at the Alphonso DiMino Memorial Bandshell in Academy Park, and a grand fireworks celebration.
