The 2019 “Tuesdays in the Park” summer concert series began this week with a pair of crowd-pleasing performances by rock ‘n’ roll legends Sammy Hagar and Night Ranger. The “super” show – named that way for its unique pricing and seating configurations – lived up to billing, as the acts enthusiastically ran through five decades of hit songs, paired with a generous sampling of deep cuts.
Hagar is touring with a super-group he created called The Circle. The outfit includes Michael Anthony, Vic Johnson and Jason Bonham.
Next up in the series at Artpark is George Clinton and Parliament Funkadelic. The show begins at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, with opening acts Fishbone, Miss Velvet & The Blue Wolf. For more information, or for tickets, visit www.artpark.net or stop by the venue box office at 450 S. Fourth St., Lewiston.
