In honor of National Travel & Tourism Week, Destination Niagara USA honored more than 700 employees from the hospitality and tourism sector on Tuesday. A luncheon was held inside the Niagara Falls Conference Center on Old Falls Street. Prizes were awarded, and tourist entities were given booths to provide more information on their respective summer seasons.
Guests could also pose for pictures and stop for ice cream.
Destination Niagara said the event "is a way to show appreciation for all the individuals working in the hospitality and tourism industry across Niagara County. This event is at no cost to attendees and is simply an afternoon for all employees in the industry to get together, have fun, enjoy great food and have an opportunity to win prizes."
