On Thursday, Destination Niagara USA Director of Communications Andrea Czopp brought Community Missions of the Niagara Frontier three containers filled with hotel-quality bath items. The toiletries, including soaps, body washes and lotions, shampoos and conditioners, were collected by the destination marketing organization's traveling staffers.
"We travel for work and it's nice to bring something home for the community," she said.
Czopp presented the items to Community Missions Executive Director Robyn L. Krueger and Director of Communication Christian Hoffman. She said Destination Niagara USA presents toiletries every couple of months.
Hoffman said the agency was grateful for Destination Niagara USA's gift.
"It's just always wonderful to have so many and different partners that are thinking of us in whatever way that they are able to," he said. "It's interesting to see all the different collaborations that are possible out there. Somebody who's out there working in the travel realm can do something like this. And we have partners like the Sheraton at the Falls that's able to donate things like linens and towels and things that they have left over. Everybody in some way can help in some different ways."
