Pro Training Basketball opens to the public

Sun, Sep 3rd 2017 11:20 am
Pro Training Basketball cut the ribbon to open its facility on Saturday. In front of Town of Wheatfield Supervisor Robert Cliffe, and numerous parents and kids, Tony Watson II and partner Rod Middleton opened up to show the public what was inside.
The facility, located at 3790 Commerce Court, Suite 100, houses a full basketball court, a turf area for various workouts, a weight area to improve strength, locker rooms, conference rooms, a media room and offices.
Watson and Middleton praised their families in their opening remarks for assisting them in the production of the facility. The duo, with the help of others, finished the facility in just 30 days.
Watson and Middleton said they were excited to start their process, but to see the families pouring through the entrance after the ribbon was cut was a surreal moment.
"It's a big blessing," Watson said. "Everything we've done over the past few years to finally get to this point, we can really get to see it pay off. You can see the kids, their parents and everybody smiling, everyone happy to be here. It's a huge blessing."
Middleton agreed with Watson. He said, "Definitely blessed to be in this situation. A lot of times when you do this, especially when you start your own business, you hope everyone is gonna take to it and come out and support. So, to actually see everyone here, we're definitely grateful for this opportunity and just the love that everyone's shown us."
