Lawn Mower Race brings Island to forefront

The annual Father's Day Lawn Mower Race on the Island's West River took place last weekend to raise money for the Grand Island Relay For Life in its ongoing support of the American Cancer Society. Councilman Gary Roesch gave a shout out during the Grand Island Town Board meeting to event organizers for "moving Grand Island to the forefront" with annual Father's Day Lawn Mower Race along the West River.
