Monday, July 13
•4600 block of Model City Road, assist public – Caller reported visiting the ex’s residence to remove belongings and was assisted by her children. Caller said ex is now accusing him of stealing items and threatening him. Patrol advised caller to contact Niagara Falls Police Department for standby assistance.
•4100 block of Lower River Road, forgery – Caller reported a credit card fraud. Patrol said the caller lost a credit card on Sheridan Drive and an unknown party acquired the card and used it. Caller advised to contact Amherst Police Department for report.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. One warning issued.
Tuesday, July 14
•3600 block of Ransomville Road, check welfare – Caller reported a male sitting in front of a building with an unknown item in his hand. Patrol responded and found two males sitting in a parking lot, chatting and enjoying the summer weather. All 10-4.
•700 block of Oneida Street, theft – 911 caller reported a caregiver took a wallet overnight. Report only. Officers reported all 10-4.
•700 block of Pletcher Road, suspicious activity – Caller said two males approached residence earlier. Officers checked camera and observed subjects walking up to a garage, point at a camera and depart the property on foot. Area checked with negative results. No report.
•300 block of S. Second Street, theft – Caller reported a vehicle break-in. Vehicle insurance information, registration, garage door opener, cash and personal items all reported missing over past two weeks; exact date unknown. No property damage reported. Complainant said vehicle typically unlocked at night. Patrol advised to start locking vehicle at all times. Report taken.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Ten drivers cited with 11 UTTs issued for town court. Four warnings issued.
Wednesday, July 15
•Susies Lane/Upper Mountain Road, check welfare – 911 caller reported a driver in a tan Denali appears to be nodding off. Officers said a female was working on a computer in the vehicle and trying for better internet reception. All 10-4.
•5300 block of Military Road, hospital, disturbance, not domestic – 911 caller reported being kicked out of the facility. Subject refusing to leave and wants treatment. Subject later picked up by a gray vehicle per hospital security. Officers said the male had been admitted to a rehab facility, checked himself out, and sought readmittance at hospital. Subject not allowed entry without proper check-in, per hospital staff.
•100 block of N. Water Street, assist – Officer initiated. Patrol reported juveniles swimming at the boat launch. Subjects advised to cease and leave area. They complied.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited, UTT issued for town court. Report taken. Six warnings issued.
Thursday, July 16
•700 block of Chicora Drive, suspicious activity – 911 wireless caller returned home and found three unknown males, dressed in black, attempting to break into vehicles. Subjects fled in different directions when approached. No entry made. Officers checked area with negative results.
•Center Street/Ridge Road, check welfare – Customs/Border Patrol reported a female sitting on the ground with her head down. Officers checked area with negative results.
•Creek Road/Jefferson’s Way, vehicle/traffic stop – Officer initiated. Driver cited by officers with driving while intoxicated; aggravated driving while intoxicated, per se; and failure to use designated lane. UTTs issue for town court. Report taken.
•900 block of Creek Road, assist public – Caller reported a landlord-tenant dispute over a leaking pipe. Caller advised said complaint was a civil issue and to recontact patrol if further assistance is needed.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Six drivers cited with eight UTTs issued for town court. Five warnings issued.
Friday, June 17
•E. Eddy Drive/Mary Lane, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol located a black Dodge Durango with no front plate that matched a suspicious vehicle description from previous incident. Vehicle belongs to a local resident and not involved.
•800 block of Center Street, assist – Per dispatch, caller reported kids blowing off fireworks. Officers located six juveniles on the roof of urgent care. Subjects advised to contact parents for ride home and warned of consequences if activity continues. No damages observed on roof.
•4000 block of Dickersonville Road, fire – 911 caller reported white smoke from the rear of a house, fire alarm going off and flames inside. Police and fire responded and all parties evacuated. Fire extinguished. Investigation pending.
•1600 block of Brailey Road, airplane crash – 911 report. Fire responded.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Eight drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Reports taken. Four warnings issued.
Saturday, July 18
•400 block of Fort Gray Drive, suspicious activity – 911 caller reported a male running through yards; subject aggressively panhandling. Officers responded.
•2500 block of Lower Mountain Road, MVA-injuries – 911 caller reported a male thrown from a motorcycle. Statement taken. Male allegedly travelling at high rate of speed, lost control of vehicle and entered ditch. Bike destroyed and male declined EMS treatment for injuries. Driver cited for failure to use designated lane; operating out of class; and uninspected motor vehicle. UTTs issued for town court. Report taken.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Ten drivers cited with 14 UTTs issued for town court. Report taken. Three warnings issued.
Sunday, July 19
•Center Street/Portage Road, assist public – Caller requested patrol regarding non-permitted equipment at festival. Males on location with religious signs and speaking into microphone. Subjects within their constitutional rights, per patrol.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Seven drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Three warnings issued. Report taken.
