Erie County Fair press release
Do you know someone who lives for the Erie County Fair? Or maybe that someone is you? The Erie County Fair is now accepting nominations for the “2026 Ultimate Fairgoer,” an annual honor awarded to a true champion of Erie County Fair spirit and tradition.
Since its creation in 2005, the “Ultimate Fairgoer” title has been awarded to individuals who embody the heart and soul of the Erie County Fair. These are the superfans who count down the days to opening day, proudly share their love of the event with others, and create unforgettable memories year after year.
Nomination forms are available at www.ECFair.org/UFG, and must be submitted by Wednesday, July 29. Each nomination must include a short essay explaining why the nominee stands out as the “2026 Ultimate Fairgoer.” Supporting materials such as photos, testimonials, news articles, or memorabilia are welcome and encouraged. Note: Employees of the Erie County Agricultural Society and/or Erie County Fair are not eligible.
