NYSDOT issues several Erie County travel advisories

Ramp & lane closures on Scajaquada Expressway in City of Buffalo

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that there will be roving ramp closures in both directions along the Scajaquada Expressway (state Route 198) and roving lane closures along the westbound expressway between 7 p.m. and 5 a.m. nightly, beginning Monday, July 13, until Friday, July 17, to facilitate milling of the ramps and roadway. Drivers should expect delays and follow posted detours.

Closure of Kensington Expressway ramp to Scajaquada Expressway

NYSDOT is advising motorists that the Kensington Expressway (Route 33), westbound ramp to the Scajaquada Expressway (Route 198), westbound in the City of Buffalo, will be closed beginning at 9 p.m. Friday, July 17, until 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, to facilitate construction. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.

Lane closures on Interstate 290 in Town of Tonawanda

NYSDOT is advising motorists that Interstate 290 (Youngmann Memorial Highway), westbound in the Town of Tonawanda, will be reduced from three lanes to one between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Saturday, July 18, to facilitate bridge repairs. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.

Construction activities are weather-dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
