Monday, June 29

•University Drive, college campus, harassment – Caller reported an aggravated harassment complaint. Patrol responded; report only.

•800 block of Oriole Drive, domestic disturbance – 911 caller reported two males fighting over a female, one male still on location. Patrol responded.

•1300 block of Pletcher Road, disturbance, not domestic – 911 caller reported an irate contractor refusing to leave. Patrol responded, but subject already left. Negative results on area check.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller reported the driver of a blue van with an open container of beer. Patrol checked area with negative results.

•900 block of James Drive, suspicious activity – Caller reported a male going door-to-door selling windows sans a permit. Patrol advised subjects from company on need for a permit. Call handed.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with three UTTs issued for town court. Three warnings issued.

Tuesday, June 30

•1500 block of Mount Hope Road, theft – Caller reported theft of property deed paperwork while subject was hospitalized. Patrol advised caller to contact Tuscarora officials as they own the land where property is located.

•Buffalo Street/Saunders Settlement Road, check welfare – 911 caller reported a possible road rage, with two vehicles and three females involved. Patrols said the incident escalated between parties, with vehicle damage reported. Two females taken into custody for criminal mischief. Report taken.

•900 block of Center Street, theft; domestic disturbance (separate incidents) – First call, theft of product. Patrol responded, report taken. Second call, male-female physical domestic over property issues in a supermarket. Patrols handled. Parties escorted home for property retrieval. Both parties in agreement over property. Male advised on possible trespassing charges.

•2000 block of Ridge Road, MVA – property damage – Caller reported a two-vehicle accident with mailbox damage. Statements taken. Driver No. 1 cited for failure to yield right of way, left-hand turn. UTTs issued for town court. Report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Report taken. Four warnings issued.

Wednesday, July 1

•900 block of Upper Mountain Road, harassment by a neighbor – Patrol listed complaint as a neighbor dispute over a notebook.

•2900 block of Saunders Settlement Road, check welfare – In-car 911 caller states driver of a black vehicle left juveniles in a vehicle while shopping. Officers responded.

•800 block of Center Street, accident hit-run – Caller reported driver of a red vehicle struck vehicle in parking lot and took off. Patrol responded, information gathered and report taken.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Three warnings issued.

Thursday, July 2

•5300 block of Chew Road, check welfare – Caller reported a female exited vehicle and appeared to be beating a child in the backseat. Vehicle GOA on patrol’s arrival. Officers spoke with business staffer who stated they heard the female yelling at children. No other information.

•4400 block of Creek Road, shots fired – 911 caller reported a neighbor shooting rabbits in the yard. Ongoing issue with daily incidents. Officers spoke with the suspect who said he shot a rabbit that was eating in his garden. Neighbor told officers it was rabbit season and he plans on consuming the bunny.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Zero activity. Five warnings issued.

Friday, July 3

•700 block of Center Street, theft – 911 caller reported a theft that occurred earlier. Employee stated three males entered the store, purchased several items and departed with a merchandise bag on the counter from an unrelated, suspended sale. Store video showed suspects all wearing shirts from a business. Subjects tracked down at business. Owner of company returned and payment made for items taken. Total of theft: $13.

•4400 block of Lower River Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller reported two males on an orange ATV riding through a cemetery causing damage. Subjects GOA on patrol’s response. Cemetery area checked with negative results.

•Creek Road/Madison Avenue, animal complaint – Caller reported a snapping turtle attempting to enter roadway. Turtle taken off road by caller, per patrol.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Five drivers cited with eight UTTs issued for town court. Reports taken. Six warnings issued.

Saturday, July 4

 •Creek Road/Thornwood Drive, assist public – Patrol flagged down by a motorist who suspects her boyfriend is driving around “high on crack cocaine.”

•800 block of Cayuga Street, noise complaint – 911 caller reported a family blowing off fireworks too close to others in a parking lot. Officers located the individual setting off fireworks and advised subject to cease as the last firework malfunctioned and was a safety concern. Subject became confrontational with patrols.

•300 block of Center Street, noise complaint – Anonymous caller reported loud music. Patrol found a live band on location. No problems found with residents creating hazards or breaking town ordinances. Band ended by 10 p.m.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Zero activity reported. Four warnings issued.

Sunday, July 5

•5300 block of Military Road, Hospital, harassment – 911 complaint. Officers responded and report taken.

•5100 block of Walmore Road, lost/found property – Caller reported an ATV, stolen in 2015, was seen on online marketplace. Patrol responded.

•100 block of N. Fourth Street, check welfare – Caller reported a female juvenile locked herself in the park restroom. Officers found the caller and juvenile roadside and spoke with both parties. All OK.

•4800 block of W. Eddy Drive, mental health check/domestic disturbance – Separate 911 calls. Officers responded; no further information.

•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited. UTT issued for town court. One warning issued.
