MissionGO press release

MissionGO announced the appointment of Jeff Hackett as executive vice president. In this senior leadership role, Hackett will oversee the newly established recruitment, mobilization and training division, driving the organization’s strategic vision to disciple the nations through enhanced church partnerships and innovative missionary training.

Hackett brings more than 20 years of senior leadership experience in the nonprofit and ministry sectors. His professional journey includes 16 years with SCORE International as the director of advancement and gap year programs, as well as serving as a youth pastor at The Chapel in Amherst where he oversaw significant ministry growth. Since 2020, Hackett has been a vital part of MissionGO, focusing on church relations and short-term missions mobilization.

“Jeff’s deep-rooted passion for the Word of God and his extensive experience in mobilizing the local church make him the ideal leader for this season,” said Dennis R. Campbell, president of MissionGO. “His unique background as both a ministry leader and a strategic problem-solver ensures that MissionGO remains a trusted platform for launching the next generation of Christian leaders.”

A key focus of Hackett’s leadership will be the launch of a new one-year training initiative this September. This program is designed to mentor interns and apprentices, preparing them for full-time, faith-based ministries through a "service-first" approach that prioritizes long-term relationships over transactional recruitment.

Hackett’s expertise in field ministry outreach is extensive, having personally led and trained diverse teams – including medical professionals, first responders, and educators – for work in Costa Rica, Haiti, the Dominican Republic, the Bahamas and Honduras. Under his direction, MissionGO will transition toward a pipeline-conversion model, guiding participants from short-term "encounter" trips into long-term career service.

Jeff and his wife of 42 years, Cindy, reside in Bowmansville. He continues to serve his local community as the missions and outreach pastor at Centerpointe Community Church in Depew.
