Monday, June 15
•900 block of Elliott Drive, assist public – Officer initiated. Walk-in complaint regarding spam messages. Complainant still receiving spam emails. Patrol advised caller to block emails and not respond.
•4300 block of Creek Road, harassment – Caller reported receiving threatening messages via text and social media messenger. Caller requested no charges at this time. Report taken.
•400 block of S. Fourth Street, suspicious activity – Caller reported a parked/occupied vehicle. Individuals inside smoking marijuana. Patrol checked area with negative results.
•4200 block of Calkins Road, forgery – Officer initiated. Walk-in complaint for fraud. Complainant said a new phone was ordered and received. A male then contacted complainant, said the phone was sent in error, and requested the phone be sent to another address, with a $150 credit to come for the inconvenience. Report taken.
•Niagara Scenic Parkway/Pletcher Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller reported a filing cabinet in the roadway. Patrol successfully removed.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Three drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Seven warnings issued.
Tuesday, June 16
•5800 block of Hyde Park Boulevard, damage to property – Caller reported both vehicle windshields were shot with a BB gun (unknown timeframe). Patrol reported vehicle damage. No suspects at this time. report filed for insurance purposes. Report taken.
•4200 block of Dickersonville Road, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Caller reported subjects possibly sleeping in sheds. Patrol checked multiple sheds with negative results. Town enforcement to follow up.
•300 block of Roosevelt Avenue, ordinance violation – Caller reported ongoing issues, ordinance violations with animals involving a neighbor. Patrol followed up with town and SPCA regarding chickens and 23 dogs reported on property. Town not concerned. Patrol advised the neighbors to ignore each other.
•1200 block of Pletcher Road, damage to property – 911 caller said a neighbor at a campsite was messing around with her camper. Vehicle was dropped off its jacks. Patrol corrected problem; parties advised to ignore each other.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited, UTT issued for town court. Four warnings issued.
Wednesday, June 17
•Raymond/E. Eddy drives, suspicious activity – Officer initiated. Patrol stopped for vehicles and parties in roadway juveniles arguing after a high school party. Subjects sent on their way.
•2100 block of Mount Hope Road, domestic disturbance – 911 caller said a male put her in a choke hold and threw alcohol at her. Officers responded. Report taken.
•100 block of N. Fourth Street, check welfare – 911 caller reported a female acting strange; subject staggering, possibly intoxicated. Patrol said the female had multiple abrasions. Subject smelled of alcohol but denied drinking. Female taken by family member for medical evaluation.
•2200 block of Saunders Settlement Road, traffic complaint/investigation – 911 caller reported a black Honda all over the road and subjects throwing water bottles at vehicles. Patrol responded.
•1700 block of Swann Road, disturbance, not domestic – Caller reported a neighbor throwing large rocks at horses on the property. Officers spoke with neighbor. A family member reportedly had returned the rocks to the pasture after it was plowed.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. One driver cited, UTT issued for town court. Two warnings issued.
Thursday, June 18
•800 block of Balmer Road, assist public – Caller reported an 11-month-old infant was locked in a vehicle, caller had no keys. Patrol responded. Call handled.
•800 block of Oriole Lane, harassment – Caller reported receiving death threats via the phone from the ex. Officers responded and report taken.
•4600 block of Dickersonville Road, assist public – Patrol flagged down by a female walking across the road. Courtesy transport provided.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Five drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court, report taken. Eight warnings issued.
Friday, June 19
•400 block of Burt Circle, fire – Officer initiated. Possible house fire reported by caller. Police and fire responded. No fire found; a blown light bulb was reported.
•600 block of Center Street, check welfare – Passerby 911 caller reported a male possibly sleeping at the wheel of a black Hyundai. Officers responded. Driver cited for driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, per se. Appearance and UTTs issued for town court. Report taken.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Six drivers cited with seven UTTs issued for town court. Report taken. One warning issued.
Saturday, June 20
•1800 block of Saunders Settlement Road, forgery – Caller reported fraudulent charges on a credit card from a Georgia business; $223.31 processed from a Georgia aquarium. Caller advised to cancel credit card and dispute charges. Report taken.
•5900 block of Kline Road, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller reported a big black truck driving recklessly. Patrol spoke with both parties; ongoing neighbor dispute reported.
•100 block of N. Water Street, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller said a grey Subaru, triple parked, blocking caller in. Patrol reported Subaru driver returned, call handled. Parking lot reported as a mess due to roadwork.
•LPD patrol activity – Calls officer initiated. Vehicle/traffic stops for motor vehicle violations. Two drivers cited with UTTs issued for town court. Four warnings issued.
Sunday, June 21
•800 block of Oriole Lane, traffic complaint/investigation – Caller reported kids riding scooters in area without helmets. No violations observed by patrol.
•1200 block of Cain Road, shots fired – Caller reported a male shooting a gun on the property; ongoing issue. Patrol said a family was target shooting approximately 500 feet from houses. Family advised about neighborhood concerns.
•800 block of The Circle Drive, disturbance, not domestic – Caller said a neighbor was yelling at her through a camera. Ongoing issue. Report only. Patrol responded and call handled.
