VIP & premium seating moving fast for 7 summer concerts
Batavia Downs press release
Batavia Downs President and CEO Byron Brown announced VIP season ticket packages for the upcoming summer outdoor “Rockin’ the Downs” concert series are sold out ahead of Friday’s first concert.
“We are thrilled by the response from our fans regarding the new ticket options that we put in place for the upcoming outdoor concert season,” Brown said. “Not only are VIP season ticket packages sold out, but single tickets in the premium and VIP sections are moving very quickly – especially for the first and last concerts of the summer season.”
Batavia Downs added a number of new ticket alternatives for the seven summer outdoor concerts that kicks off Friday, June 26, with Motown legends The Spinners making their first ever appearance at the Downs and ends with country icon Jo Dee Messina on Friday, Aug. 14.
“Tickets for The Spinners have really picked up with premium and VIP sections almost sold out for the first concert of the season,” Brown said.
Vice President of Business Development and Marketing Ryan Hasenauer said, “Our new premium section select a seat map, which enables concertgoers to pick their actual seat number and row, has been well received. We continue to find ways to enhance our guest’s event day experience. Our free parking and free valet will continue this year for all our guests.”
Premium tickets for the last concert are sold out, and several concerts have less than 20 premium tickets remaining.
“The 2026 summer concert series at Batavia Downs features the most diverse lineup we’ve ever presented, with artists spanning country, ’80s rock, classic rock, Motown and disco – genres our guests have been asking for,” Brown said.
As with previous years, doors will open at 4 p.m. with at least two opening bands playing starting around 5:30 p.m., before the main act takes the stage each Friday at 8:30 p.m.
Patrons will need to purchase drink tickets that can be redeemed outside for drinks. As in previous years, several food trucks will be onsite with a variety of foods.
