Artpark's Fairy House Festival returns this Saturday

Artpark & Company is excited to welcome everyone to the 16th annual Artpark Fairy House Festival from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. this Saturday, June 20. The theme – “Under The Sea” – takes its inspiration from the waters of the stunning Niagara River.

Guests will be greeted with bubbles, misters and fairies scampering and drifting in like a tide from hidden places. Interactive making spaces, face-painting and a tea tent are just some of the “Under The Sea” wonders awaiting guests.

Fairy houses will be in the woods, and Kelpie, fish and mer-masks can be made under the picnic shelters. Mix up a potion and maybe a fairy will appear – or create your own fairy house to welcome the fae. The Mythic Market Place will feature many exciting vendors.

And all throughout the day, visitors will experience Lyra performances, Sallyanndra roaming the sea playing the violin, as well as Lorna MacDonald Czarnota (storyteller) and Katherine Berquist (harpist) at Storytelling Place in the woods and more performances throughout.

The Fairy House Festival takes place in Artpark’s lower park (off South Fourth Street), in Lewiston.

Single tickets and family packs of tickets are available for purchase online at ticketmaster.com, artpark.net, in-person at the Artpark box office (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Friday; 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday) or by phone at 716-754-4375. Prices include facility fee. Additional fees apply for online orders.
