On June 16 at 11:52 a.m., the Niagara County Sheriff's Office dispatch center received a call reporting a garage on fire at 3049 Weeks Circle in the Town of Porter. NCSO deputies responded and confirmed the unattached garage structure was fully engulfed in flames.
The fire was subsequently extinguished by members of the Youngstown and Ransomville volunteer fire companies who also responded to the scene.
The single-story, multiple-bay garage was considered a complete loss. A 2025 BMW that was parked inside the garage was also destroyed. The property's adjacent residence also suffered radiant heat damage.
No injuries were reported. An investigation into the cause of the fire by the Niagara County Fire Investigation Unit is underway.
