NYSDOT: Lane closures on Sheridan Drive, Kensington Expressway

The New York State Department of Transportation is advising motorists that the right lane of Sheridan Drive (state Route 324) eastbound will be closed between Logan Avenue and Gettysburg Avenue in the Town of Tonawanda from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, beginning Monday, June 15, through Friday, June 19, to facilitate construction. Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.

NYSDOT is advising motorists that the two left lanes will be closed on the Kensington Expressway (Route 33) eastbound, between the Union Road (Route 277) overpass and the bridge carrying the expressway over Rosary Boulevard in the Town of Cheektowaga, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13, to facilitate construction.

A temporary stop sign will be in place at the Kensington Expressway eastbound on-ramp from Interstate 90 while work is taking place in the area.

Drivers should expect delays and consider alternate routes when possible.

Construction activities are weather dependent and subject to change based on conditions.
