Notice to interested voters in Niagara County from the election commissioners regarding the June 23 primary election:
Niagara County early voting poll sites
All eligible voters (all Democratic voters, Republican Voters in Hartland and Lewiston, Conservative voters in Lewiston and Wilson, and Working Families voters in the 13th Legislative District) may vote at any of the below early voting sites on the dates and times listed.
√ Saturday, June 13: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Sunday, June 14: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Monday, June 15: noon to 8 p.m.
√ Tuesday, June 16: noon to 8 p.m.
√ Wednesday, June 17: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Thursday, June 18: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Friday, June 19: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Saturday, June 20: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
√ Sunday, June 21: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
•Niagara Falls Train Station (AMTRAK), 825 Depot Ave. W., Niagara Falls
•Cornell Cooperative Extension (Niagara County Fairgrounds), 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport
•Wheatfield Community Center, 2790 Church Road, North Tonawanda
•Newfane Community Center, 2737 Main St.
•Wendelville Fire Co., 7340 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda
All sites are accessible to voters with physical disabilities.
On primary election day (Tuesday, June 23), all voters must go to their regular poll site to cast a ballot.
Register to vote
The last day to register to vote for the primary election is June 13.
The Board of Elections (111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport) will be open extended hours for the purpose of registering those persons not already registered (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, June 13). Voters can also go to any early voting site to register on June 13.
The early voting sites are:
•Niagara Falls Train Station (AMTRAK), 825 Depot Ave. W., Niagara Falls
•Cornell Cooperative Extension (Niagara County Fairgrounds), 4487 Lake Ave., Lockport
•Wheatfield Community Center, 2790 Church Road, North Tonawanda
•Newfane Community Center, 2737 Main St.
•Wendelville Fire Co., 7340 Campbell Blvd., North Tonawanda
Normal office hours are 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays.
Voter registration forms are available on the Board of Elections website (elections.niagara.ny.us), at post offices, banks, public libraries, town and city halls, or at the Board of Elections, 111 Main St., Suite 100, Lockport. Anyone who has moved since voting last must reregister to be eligible.
Those who are going to be out of the county on Election Day may apply for an absentee or early mail ballot by calling 716-438-4042 or 716-438-4049.
Absentee and early mail balloting
The Niagara County Board of Elections will be open extended hours on the following dates for Absentee and Early Mail Balloting for the June 23 primary election:
√ Monday, June 15, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
√ Tuesday, June 16, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
√ Saturday, June 20, 9 a.m. to noon
