Award-winning trio CAIN releases new single, "Living Water," available everywhere today. The song delivers a timely reminder that, no matter where we've been searching for fulfillment, Jesus will meet us right where we are and offer something the world never can.

At the heart of the song is a simple but profound truth: So often we find ourselves returning to wells that leave us empty. Whether it's success, approval, comfort or control, the things we look to for satisfaction eventually run dry. But what Jesus offers is something different: living water that never runs out. More than a song about spiritual thirst, "Living Water" is an anthem of renewal. It reminds listeners that, even when circumstances remain unchanged, God can revive a weary soul in an instant.
“The heart of this song is that Jesus is the prize, not Jesus giving you the prize. He is it," shared Madison Cain Johnson of CAIN. "He’s the prayer you’re praying, the answer you need, the living water. Things – even good things – will leave you over and over again. We’ve learned that the hard way, and we’re committing to not make that mistake again this time.”
The message arrives during a significant season for the band. Following last year’s release of "I Made It," a song celebrating God's faithfulness through difficult circumstances, "Living Water" represents the next chapter of the story. "I Made It" was a testimony to survival, and "Living Water" is a reminder of where strength comes from.
CAIN debuted "Living Water" on the Grand Ole Opry stage May 8 and recently performed the song for radio programmers at the CMB Momentum Conference. Ahead of its release, K-LOVE selected the track as a “K-LOVE First,” featuring it at the top of every hour June 4.

More about CAIN: CAIN’s joy-filled music and infectious energy have made them one of Christian music’s most recognizable sibling groups. Comprised of Taylor Cain Matz, Madison Cain Johnson and Logan Cain, the trio grew up in Hartselle, Alabama, where a love for music and ministry first took root.
Since their debut, CAIN has earned back-to-back No. 1 radio singles with “Rise Up (Lazarus)” and “Yes He Can,” while their viral hit “I’m So Blessed” has generated more than 513 million short-form video views. All three songs, along with “The Commission,” have been certified RIAA Gold. Their sophomore album, “Jesus Music,” released in 2023, continued the group’s momentum, while recent single “I Made It” inspired fans to share stories of perseverance and faith across social media.
Over the course of their career, CAIN has headlined multiple tours and shared the stage with artists including Chris Tomlin, TobyMac and Phil Wickham. Their accolades include a K-LOVE Fan Award, multiple GMA Dove Awards, and recognition for their reality television series, “Chasing CAIN,” and their children’s project, “CAIN for Kids.” The trio also hosted the 2023 K-LOVE Fan Awards and made a second appearance at the historic Grand Ole Opry in 2026.
Following the success of their “Live and In Color” tours, CAIN will return to the road this fall with a brand-new headline tour. Additional details will be announced soon.
