The Lewiston Democratic Committee is set to honor James "Jimmy" Briggs, president of Niagara-Orleans Central Labor Council, as its 2025 Democrat of the Year, at a brunch to be held starting at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, April 27. In addition, Judith Keys will be recognized posthumously for her many years of dedication to the efforts of all Democratic candidates.
The brunch will take place at the Niagara Falls Country Club.
Keynote speaker for the event is the Hon. Tim Kennedy, congressional representative for NY-26th District.
