Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Matthew Glass, 25 years old, formerly of Atlanta, was sentenced to a combined 41 years to life in prison for the murder of 48-year-old Robert Miller in Niagara Falls in October 2023, and related crimes. Glass was convicted by a jury of murder in the second degree, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree, and witness tampering in the third degree.
“This defendant showed himself to be cold-blooded and remorseless,” Seaman said. “The only proper response to a brazen, violent crime of this nature is to remove the perpetrator from the community permanently. Justice and public safety require it.”
The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by First Assistant District Attorney Doreen Hoffmann and Assistant District Attorney Mattie Davis. The sentence was handed down by County Court Judge John Ottaviano.
