Shea’s Performing Arts Center announces the launch of “Cast Party,” a brand-new podcast, hosted and produced by Shea’s staff, who bring listeners behind-the-scenes at Shea’s like never before.
Whether you are a longtime Shea’s patron or just discovering the world of theater, “Cast Party” will bring you closer to the stories, history and people that make Shea’s special. It is a fun and approachable way to explore Broadway, uncover insider accounts, and celebrate the magic of live theater.
Throughout the season, “Cast Party” will share never-before-heard tales, exclusive insights and plenty of surprises, designed to entertain, educate and connect listeners.
“Cast Party” is hosted by Julianna Tracey, an actress and member of the Shea’s development team who holds a BFA in music theater and a BA in history; Rita Sirianni, who earned a degree in theater and English from Case Western Reserve University and worked at theater companies across the northeast before making Shea’s her home; and Ken Liszewski, a leader in Shea’s fundraising efforts with a master of science in communication and leadership, who brings an inquisitive, theater-novice voice to the program.
Shea’s Buffalo Theatre recently kicked off a two-year centennial anniversary celebration. January marked the 100-year anniversary of the groundbreaking of Shea’s Buffalo. Built in a year and a day, the theater opened Jan. 16, 1926.
The pilot episode of “Cast Party” dives into the newly announced Shea’s 2025-26 Five Star Bank Broadway Season.
