More on UB40
UB40 is one of the most successful and influential British groups of all time, with more than 100 million albums sold, and more than 50 charting singles in the U.K., including their trademark global No. 1 hits “Red Red Wine” and “(I Can’t Help) Falling in Love With You”; and U.S. Top 10s “Here I Am (Come and Take Me)” and “The Way You Do The Things You Do.”
The reggae/pop legends celebrated their 45th anniversary in 2023, along with the release of their 45th anniversary album featuring new songs and reworked classics. Both were titled “UB45.”
“We continue to make albums for the simple reason that we love doing it and we’re forever inspired by the reactions of our multiple generations of fans,” founding member and guitarist Robin Campbell said. “Playing ‘Red Red Wine’ and having thousands of people sing back to us every night is fantastic, but we never want to become a cabaret act or do a Vegas residency where we only play decades-old hits for nostalgia’s sake.”

More on Inner Circle
To anyone who’s familiar with the band’s 50-year-plus history in the reggae field and their immense popularity around the world, there’s much more to Inner Circle than what meets the eye. Indeed, this Jamaican-bred, Grammy-winning quintet is one of the world’s most respected reggae groups with a long string of successes stretching back to the mid-’70s. Inner Circle’s special brand of pop-oriented Jamaican beats and energy-filled live performances have allowed the band to transcend the traditional reggae niche and enjoy widespread crossover appeal.
The title track of the album, “Bad Boys,” became a No. 1 hit and sold approximately 7 million copies worldwide; while “Sweat (A La La La La Long)” exploded across the world.
