Youngstown Lions Press Release
All high school seniors planning to enter a trade school or college this fall – including homeschoolers – are invited to apply for one of scholarships offered annually by the Youngstown Lions Club for students living in Youngstown the Town of Porter or Ransomville.
An additional special memorial trade school scholarship is also offered exclusively this year in dual memory of Lion John Rolfe and Lion Debra R. Comerford, both prior leaders for many years in the Youngstown Lions Club, who each passed away recently.
The deadline for applications to be accepted is April 10. Interested students should view the Lewiston-Porter High School website, counseling center, scholarships for application and details, and/or call 716-286-7258 for more information.
The mission of the Youngstown Lions Club is “We Serve!” Preference will be given to students planning to pursue jobs serving others in their communities.
