Lewiston Garden Club Press Release
The Lewiston Garden Club will fund a $1,000 scholarship for a graduating high school senior who has demonstrated a commitment to improving the environment and a strong involvement in community service. The successful candidate must be a resident of the Town of Lewiston or reside in the Lewiston-Porter Central School District, and be a member of the graduating Class of 2025. In addition, the candidate must be planning to pursue post-secondary education in a field related to the environment.
Complete scholarship guidelines and an application can be obtained from high school guidance counselors or from the www.Lewistongardenfest.com website.
Funds for scholarships are generated through the Garden Club's perennial sale plant sale which will be May 17, and the Lewiston GardenFest, which is scheduled for June 21-22.
