Lew-Port seeking Distinguished Alumni nominations

The Lewiston-Porter Distinguished Alumni committee is seeking nominations for the 2025 Lewiston-Porter Distinguished Alumni Recognition Day to be held Friday, Oct. 24.

Distinguished Alumni recognition pays tribute to Lew-Port graduates who have distinguished themselves in their chosen careers and/or significantly and positively impacted the lives of others. Any graduate of Lew-Port of five years or more is eligible for nomination. Posthumous recognition is possible.

Categories to be considered include, but are not limited to education/academics/ community service, music, arts and entertainment, business, literature, science, medicine, military, politics, government, environment, clergy, health professionals, law, finance, volunteerism, agriculture, athletics, various fields of research that have benefitted mankind, and philanthropy.

The committee requests that nominations for 2025 be submitted by May 15. The nomination forms will always be available and remain with the committee for three years.

To obtain nomination forms, visit the Lewiston-Porter School District website (www.lew-port.com), scroll to "alumni," then scroll to "Alumni awards and Nominations."
