Niagara County District Attorney Brian D. Seaman announced Gregory Noonan, age 25, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced today to spend the next 20 years in prison for sexually assaulting two women in Niagara Falls in 2021 and 2022. Noonan previously plead guilty to two counts of attempted rape in the first degree. The sentence was imposed by County Court Judge Caroline Wojtaszek, who also ordered that Noonan serve an additional 15 years of post-release supervision upon the completion of his prison term.

Seaman said, “This sentence ensures that a dangerous predator will be off the streets for a very long time. I hope it provides some small amount of solace to the victims of these terrible crimes.”

The case was investigated by the Niagara Falls Police Department and prosecuted by Special Victims Unit Bureau Chief Heather Nicholson.
