More on Gary Clark Jr.
Clark achieved global impact following his first Grammy Award in 2014, winning Best Traditional R&B Performance for the track “Please Come Home” from his Warner Records debut album “Blak And Blu,” and seemingly never left the road. He has performed on “Saturday Night Live,” “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert,” “The Ellen DeGeneres Show,” “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” “The Late Late Show with James Corden,” “Jimmy Kimmel Live!,” “Good Morning America,” “CBS News Sunday,” “CBS This Morning,” “The Today Show,” “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah,” “The Howard Stern Show” and “WTF with Marc Maron.”
Clark’s domestic tours became instant sell-outs, and his international profile found him topping bills at legendary festivals around the world and venues including the Hollywood Bowl, along with multiple appearances in stadiums supporting and sharing the stage with The Rolling Stones.
Most recently, Clark won three more Grammy Awards, including Best Rock Performance and Best Rock Song for “This Land,” and Best Contemporary Blues Album for “This Land.” Clark also performed his award-winning single “This Land” backed by The Roots at the 2020 Grammy Award ceremony and released their version of the track.
To date, Clark has been nominated for six Grammy Awards and won four.
Countless collaborations have been recorded with Stevie Wonder, Andra Day, John Legend, Alicia Keys, Foo Fighters, Nas, Sheryl Crow, Brandi Carlile, Eric Clapton, Gustavo Santaolalla and Booker T. Jones.

More on The String Cheese Incident
For more than three decades The String Cheese Incident (SCI) has been recognized for their commitment to musical creativity and integrity, for their community spirit, philanthropic endeavors, and for their innovative approach to the business of music.
When SCI’s growth first started gaining momentum in the 1990s, as the internet was just beginning to take hold and the major-label business model was failing, the band decided to make music on its own terms.
Since then, SCI has gone on to carve out a completely unique approach to the business of music; they are truly pioneers of a new way of “making a band.” With the internet as their tool, SCI was among the first artists to disseminate information online, such as tour dates, release information, and other news, to their growing fan base.
Rather than doing business on such terms as “the bottom line,” SCI put their music and their fans first, opening companies of their own, including a ticketing company, a merchandise company and a fan travel agency, to best serve their community.
The band’s record label, SCI Fidelity Records, has always operated under the same ideals. Even early on, SCI Fidelity embraced downloadable music and file sharing, delivering SCI’s “On The Road” series, where every show the band plays is made available for download on the internet.
Whether they realized it at the time or not, The String Cheese Incident was inventing grassroots band development. Today, literally hundreds of bands are using some version of this same approach to build their brand.
