Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center has launched registration for the 30th anniversary “Ride for Roswell.” This fundraising event, presented by West Herr Automotive Group, has grown into a staple in the Western New York community, and one of the largest fundraising events in the country. The 2025 ride weekend will be held June 27-28 at the University at Buffalo’s North Campus.
There are nine routes to choose from, including a Canada route, with mileage ranging from 4 to 100. With a goal of raising a record-breaking $6 million, each event fundraiser will commit to raising at least $200 for the cause.
“It’s incredible to see the legacy we’ve built with ‘Ride for Roswell’ over the last 30 years,” said Mitch Flynn, “Ride for Roswell” founder. “Not only have we created an unparalleled community of riders, volunteers, donors, survivors and patients, but we’ve first and foremost made a difference in the lives of people battling this disease. The legacy of the ride is something we all should be proud of.”
Proceeds from “Ride for Roswell” benefit cancer research, clinical trials and patient-care programs at Roswell Park. In 2024 alone, the ride raised $5.9 million. Since 1996, the event has brought in $80 million for the mission to end cancer. Learn about the impact of ride funding.
