Public hearing scheduled for Feb. 6 at Burchfield Penney Art Center

The Erie County Department of Environment & Planning, on behalf of the Erie County “Arts in Public Places” committee, has prepared a draft 2025 master public art plan for public review and comment. The document outlines the committee’s goals and objectives relative to the selection, commission, placement and maintenance of public art projects. The public is encouraged to provide input on this draft plan.
Hard copies of the draft master public art plan are available at the Erie County Department of Environment and Planning, Edward A. Rath Building, 95 Franklin St., Room 1053. The draft plan can also be viewed on Erie County’s website at www.erie.gov/publicart.
Public hearing
A public hearing has also been scheduled to discuss the draft master public art plan for 2025. The public is encouraged to attend at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, at the Burchfield Penney Art Center at Buffalo State University, 1300 Elmwood Ave, Buffalo. The meeting room is fully accessible.
Written comments on the draft 2025 master public art plan will be accepted by Erie County Department of Environment and Planning Project Coordinator Monica Boutin through Feb. 6, at the Edward A. Rath County Office Building, or by email to [email protected].
