Join us on Saturday, Jan. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., for a one-of-a-kind adventure: Jolicoeur’s Journey. Inspired by the memoirs of Jolicoeur Charles Bonin, this interactive program lets you step into the boots of an 18th-century soldier trekking from Quebec to Fort Niagara.
You’ll:
√ Start a fire with flint and steel.
√ Build a brush shelter in the winter landscape.
√ Cook a ration of soldiers’ pea soup.
√ Warm up with a hearty lunch in the fort’s log cabin.
Discover the incredible challenges Bonin and his comrades faced during their grueling, 42-day journey through ice, snow and frozen waterways. This is history like you’ve never experienced it before!
Space is limited. Secure your spot by emailing Marlene Wessel at [email protected] or calling 716-745-7611, ext. 223.
Don’t wait – RSVP today to embark on this winter adventure!
