Baby it's cold outside. With your help, the Rotary Club of Grand Island wants to do something about that. We are once again running our Undie Sunday event, Jan. 12-27, to collect and disperse to the local missions new underclothes and socks. The donations for less-fortunate and homeless men, women and children will provide them personal dignity, comfort and warmth. Warm socks of all sizes, men’s underwear sizes large to xx-large and all women's undergarments are needed.
You are once again being invited to join us as one of the collection locations. We will provide hampers for the donations the week of Jan. 6, and a Rotarian will empty them throughout the event timeline. A club member will be in touch for drop-off and pickup.
We thank you for your previous and future participation, and your service to the community. Your involvement guarantees a successful project and many warm feet.
