Town of Wheatfield to hold 2 public hearings

The Town of Wheatfield has announced a pair of public hearings for Wednesday, Jan. 8.

Public Hearing Notice

Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Wheatfield will hold a Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 5:45 PM, in the Council Chambers, 1st floor, Town Hall, 2800 Church Road, Town of Wheatfield, NY 14120.

An application for a Special Use Permit has been received from Joleigh Wylucki,

Clarence, NY, requesting permission to open a retail space for adult use cannabis, located at 3176 Niagara Falls Boulevard, Wheatfield, NY. That location is within a Commercial (C-1) zoning district. The project requires a Special Use Permit per the town’s adult use cannabis law and the Special Use Permit process requires a Public Hearing.

The petitioner or their authorized representative must be present at the hearing.

The application is available for public inspection at the Building Department office located at the Town Hall (lower level), 2800 Church Road, Town of Wheatfield, NY, 14120, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.

All persons interested in these matters may appear at the aforementioned time, date, and place and be heard.

Public Information Meeting Notice

Please take notice that the Planning Board of the Town of Wheatfield will hold a Public Information Meeting on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, at 6:00 PM, in the Council Chambers, 1st floor, Town Hall, 2800 Church Road, Town of Wheatfield, NY 14120.

An application has been received from HH Housing Inc., Williamsville, NY, requesting permission to build a multifamily development, consisting of single, 2 and 3 story buildings. The proposed location is along the south side of the Canterbury Gardens access road that connects onto Cresent Drive/ Townline Road. That location is within a

Residential-3 (R-3) zoning district. The petitioner or their authorized representative will present the project and answer questions from the public.

The application is available for public inspection at the Building Department office located at the Town Hall (lower level), 2800 Church Road, Town of Wheatfield, NY, 14120, Monday through Friday, during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M.
