Dear residents of Lewiston,

I am thrilled to officially announce my candidacy for the position of Town of Lewiston clerk/receiver of taxes. With 10 years of dedicated service within the town clerk’s office, I am confident that I am the most qualified candidate to serve our community in this important role.

Why am I running? I love Lewiston – it’s where I choose to live with my family, and it’s a privilege to serve its residents every day. My extensive experience, combined with my deep-rooted passion for our town, makes me uniquely suited to take on this responsibility.

I am deeply honored to receive the endorsement and recommendation of Clerk Donna Garfinkel. Her support reflects my dedication to upholding the high standards and excellence our town deserves. Over the past 10 years, she has been an incredible mentor, sharing her vast knowledge and wisdom. I am truly grateful for her guidance and her confidence in me.

I am proud to have introduced new technology to modernize the clerk’s office, enhancing efficiency, saving time, and minimizing errors.

Looking ahead, I plan to upgrade the current website to streamline communication for residents. This will include quick links for handling business online, providing a convenient option for those who prefer digital services. Our top priority will remain delivering exceptional customer service to the residents of the Town of Lewiston

A little bit more about me: I am the daughter of Melissa and Scott Meogrossi. Many of you remember me as the youngest Meogrossi sister, or have had the opportunity to know one of my wonderful siblings: Karissa Meogrossi, Aurora Meogrossi (Campbell) or Scott(y) Meogrossi.

I’m a lifetime resident of Lewiston, where I built a life with my loving husband, Keith, and amazing son, Mason. I'm a Lancer alumni, a hockey mom, and your advocate at Town Hall.

Did I say why I love Lewiston? The community and my very big, loving family, the Bradshaws (Schneiders), Roemers and Philbricks. My family settled in Lewiston around 1911 and has remained in this beautiful community since. Lewiston is the reason our huge family has always remained close. I am truly blessed.

One of my greatest inspirations was my late grandfather, Thomas Bradshaw. He was a steadfast presence in my life, never missing a single softball game and always offering wisdom and encouragement. Though he’s no longer with us, I feel his spirit guiding me as I embark on this new journey. I know he’s cheering me on from above, and his legacy of love and support fuels my determination to make him proud.

This campaign is for the 2025 election, with the primary scheduled early as June 24. I know there’s a lot of hard work ahead, and I’m eager to get started. I look forward to visiting you at your doorstep to hear your thoughts on Lewiston’s town services and the clerk’s office.

To all my friends, neighbors and fellow residents: Thank you for your continued support. Your trust inspires me every day to serve this town with the passion and excellence it deserves.

Together, we can build on the progress we’ve made and ensure that Lewiston continues to be a thriving, welcoming community for generations to come.
