United Way of Greater Niagara Press Release
United Way of Greater Niagara is excited to announce the allocation of funding for the fiscal year 2025. The diverse range of agencies that were selected by the community care committee align with United Way’s mission to support youth programs that positively impact social, emotional and mental development.
Funded agencies for 2025:
“This year’s application process, as in years’ past, was incredibly competitive and highlighted many of the great programs and services we have here in Niagara County,” said Andrea Gray, president and CEO of the United Way of Greater Niagara. “While the need is high, resources to meet those needs are finite, but we are committed to continuing to raise funds to effectively support as many programs as possible – and as a part of our ongoing evolution, are always exploring new methods to meet these needs.”
With applications opening again in May 2025, United Way encourages all agencies whose mission aligns with ours to apply.
“For agencies who applied this year and were unsuccessful, we appreciate you and all that you do for Niagara County,” Gray said. “As we move forward with funding this year’s agencies, we would also like to recognize the people, businesses, schools and organizations who support our campaign. Your generosity is integral to our ability to support youth-based services, and the money donated stays right here in Niagara County.”
In addition, United Way of Greater Niagara also offers financial support to many local agencies through the Martha Beeman Foundation and the federal Emergency Food and Shelter Program. For more information, visit www.uwgn.org.
