The United States Air Force Band of Flight will be traveling to Buffalo this weekend for a series of free musical performances at the Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park. On Saturday, Nov. 16, the band will perform three 30-minute sets inside the Naval Park’s Hangar Building at noon, 1 and 2 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
The United States Air Force Band of Flight is an active-duty military band based at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
“The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park is proud to host the United States Air Force Band of Flight,” said Paul Marzello, president and CEO. “It is our sincere hope that their music will inspire our visitors and honor our military members.”
In November, the Buffalo Naval & Military Park will be open Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 3 p.m. The last day of the season is Sunday, Nov. 24.
The Buffalo and Erie County Naval & Military Park, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is the nation’s largest inland naval park and the home of four U.S. Naval vessels: USS The Sullivans, USS Little Rock, USS Croaker and PTF-17.
