Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center Press Release and Photos
Niagara Falls Memorial Medical Center’s Schoellkopf Health Center, a 120-bed nursing home in downtown Niagara Falls, hosted a special Veterans Day luncheon Monday to honor its resident veterans for their service to our country, and provide an opportunity to reflect on the service and sacrifices of those who wore the uniform.
The luncheon brought together residents who served across the full spectrum of U.S. armed forces branches, culminating with Schoellkopf staff expressing their heartfelt gratitude by presenting each veteran with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative Veterans Day coin.
“Honoring our veterans is a meaningful tradition at Schoellkopf,” said Marisa Prokop, administrator of Schoellkopf Health Center. “Their contributions to our nation are immeasurable and should not be forgotten, and this celebration is just one way we can express our gratitude for their selfless service.”
